My cousin is getting married today. We used to spend our childhood time together, but then grew up in different city, so there's an awkward kind of familiarity when finally we meet again for the wedding. The time when you pause the time frames on your mind and looking back into those fine old days, collecting particles of memory, feeling odd for the sake of those forgotten past. If it wasn't for his wedding, I would have completely forgetting those times. How sad it is, to be forgotten? To end up being ignored, eventhough once before they were flames and sparks of our life. Funny things to recall on someone's wedding really, beside giving me excuse for wearing this lovely cutout dress and styling my hair in light-bouffant up-do with tiny fringe rolls. Blue saturday feels good so far... Wish you're having a sweet one too!

I forgot a lot of things lately. Including to publish this quite-awhile outfit post when I went out with my bestfriend for an evening ice cream hang out in one of the old cafe called Tip-Top. As it was raining I put on cardigan over my sleeveless top, which actually a beautiful Horse-illustrated dress from my latest sponsor Cap A Pie. It gave me a magical touch (as I always believe that horses are reincarnation of elves... well.) and I also love the way prints can make your look becomes more enchanting. Dove Sisterhood Event : Fun Afternoon!

May 5th, 2013 was a fun day to remember. I got invited to Dove's Sisterhood event in Novotel's meeting hall, to experience an afternoon workshop with lots of other women. Before the event, guests can enjoy snacks and coffee at the coffee-break corner or trying to check out their hair's condition (they called this as "haircheck") in Dove's hair treatment booth. I wasn't able to check mine because there were too many ladies there! So I head on to the main venue and sit patiently, waiting for the talkshow to begin.

There were two wonderful, inspiring women who became the speakers that afternoon. The first one was Nonita Respati, a young entrepreneur and designer of her own label PURANA. Then the second one was Ayu Dyah Pasha, a known actress and psychologist. They both shared about their experiences, their view about beauty, their key of success, and many beautiful stories about womenhood!

Beside talkshow, there was a hair-styling demo as well. It was a great, shared moment where everyone of us learn more about our own valued beauty. Taking care of our hair is one of the key to start, as the others to follow. My favorite thing about Dove is the way it carries away the spirit of "Unique Beauty", instead of the standardized one. You can see Dove's official video too over here (totally worth to see! and try not to cry...). Thankyou Dove for the experience, it was such a bliss!

Dots and Studs

I don't normally wear anything with studs - maybe because I feel that studs isn't really for my shyness, or because I don't know how to wear studded items. But when I received this Dahlia UK dress - a basic shaped sleeveless dress with buttoned-up upper and cute studded collar, I started to realise that studs can go classic to! I'm afraid of looking too much, but the problem solved eventually when I put on layers of basic clothes and having the perfect details combination (dots pattern on my dress, a certain cutting on my inner top's sleeves, and the studs on my collar). I also love the way my leather cluth is making everything simply neat - look at its simple shape and little bunny emboss in the corner. Sweet details are the keywords! Happy weekend for you, loves.
