Across The Epoch Gap

Yesterday I found a lovely photostreams contains of old photos and documentaries from Australia. No wonder Australia has such great magazines - their earlier forefather's photographs were already stunning. I can't stop looking at those beautiful old memories captured on black & white, starting from these gratitude of togetherness...
...to the quiet beauty of loneliness...
...and from the deep longing for people's best companions...

...to the passionate lovers and couples.

but some are from Old Photos Pool and Freehand on Flickr.

They're not exactly black & white photographs, actually... They're duotone shots. But old photos always bring about some awkward feelings on me - curiousity, yearning, tranquillity, addiction, warmth... Most of the time I imagine to be born in different era, worn vintage items as new & up-to-date trends at the moment, and felt unpatient to see the real old movies played as 'the present' entertainment. But this is 9 a.m. here and I am fully awaken from any dreams, so no more ramblings. For a closing, I'll post my lates outfits photo - this was before I went to some shopping spree with my mom.

Photos by Elang.

White loose vintage shirt with buttons : thrifted
Black high-waist skirt : shortened Bring Me Back 60's
Flat spectator shoes : the vintage today
Geek glasses : thrifted and reconstructed 80's Rob Spane.

Will be come back again - now I'm off to attend some college-project meeting in my university. The sun is shining brightly outside - nice warm weather! I wish you great skies and wonderful weather today. :)
